Job Description

As a Support Worker, your role will be to provide assistance and support to individuals in need. Your responsibilities may include:

  • Assisting with daily living tasks such as household chores and grocery shopping
  • Helping with medication and attending medical appointments
  • Planning and participating in activities such as holidays, fishing, camping and beach activities
  • Facilitating social inclusion and community access
  • Encouraging fitness and wellbeing activities
  • Developing independent living skills
  • Implementing behaviour management strategies
  • Providing personal care

Our team is passionate and supportive, and we're always looking for new ways to improve our services.

We operate 24/7, which includes shift work (sleepovers, weekends, and awake shifts).

Requirements
  • Hold a Blue Card for Working with Children (or be eligible to apply for one)
  • Have an NDIS Worker Screening check (or be eligible to apply for one)
  • Have a valid driver's licence and own vehicle with comprehensive insurance
  • Complete NDIS E-Learning modules
  • Have a smartphone with internet access
