Job Description

As an AML and Investor Onboarding Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth onboarding of investors into our client funds. This involves conducting thorough reviews to determine if investors meet all anti-money laundering (AML) and know-your-customer (KYC) requirements.

You will work closely with various teams to ensure compliance with regulations and identify potential risks. Your attention to detail and ability to analyze complex information will be essential in this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct due diligence reviews of customers' accounts to ensure compliance with AML/KYC standards
  • Monitor customer transactions for suspicious behavior and prepare reports as needed
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and workflow
  • Collaborate with risk, compliance, and technology teams to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in AML/KYC operational due diligence or compliance roles, ideally within financial services or fund services
  • Strong knowledge of AML/KYC rules and regulations, including AUSTRAC guidelines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience influencing stakeholders
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field
