Scientific Laboratory Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Scientific Laboratory Assistant to join our laboratory team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about science and looking to contribute to the success of our organization.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for preparing samples for analysis, maintaining high standards of quality control, and ensuring the smooth operation of our laboratory processes. This role requires a versatile individual who can adapt to various tasks and work across multiple teams.
Responsibilities- Sample Preparation & Analysis: Prepare and analyze samples, ensuring tests are conducted within the required holding time.
- Quality Control: Follow all quality control protocols to maintain high standards.
- Safety: Comply with laboratory safety procedures and proper PPE usage.
- Documentation: Complete all documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and organized workspace through regular housekeeping.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Ability to juggle competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong teamwork skills
- A degree in Science with a Chemistry major is preferred
- Previous experience in a similar role is desirable
