Pathology Laboratory Specialist

Work in a state-of-the-art facility with diverse pathology cases, including bone and soft tissue sarcomas, pelvic exenteration, complex head and neck resections, liver and kidney transplants, and diagnostic molecular pathology.

Deliver operational laboratory activities, coordinate scientific and technical training, and review laboratory practices to ensure compliance with standards and continuous improvement.

To be successful, you will need a Bachelor Degree or higher in Science/Medical Laboratory Science or equivalent, with relevant pathology subjects. You will also require knowledge and experience in pathology services, Laboratory Information Systems, Patient Systems, Quality Control Systems, and computer programs like Microsoft Office.

Additionally, you will need strong interpersonal, communication, and report-writing skills, as well as the ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines. A team player with the ability to work autonomously and contribute to diagnostic skills is essential.

Requirements:
  1. Bachelor Degree or higher in Science/Medical Laboratory Science or equivalent
  2. Knowledge and experience in pathology services, Laboratory Information Systems, Patient Systems, Quality Control Systems, and computer programs like Microsoft Office
  3. Strong interpersonal, communication, and report-writing skills
  4. Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines
  5. Team player with diagnostic skills
  6. Initiative, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  7. Understanding of legislation, policies, and safety requirements
  8. CT(ASC) qualification with cytology preparation screening knowledge
