Safety Professional

This is a site-based position on a 2:1 roster, which requires an experienced Health and Safety Manager to join the team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with safety regulations and fostering a strong safety culture across the project.
The ideal candidate will have experience in tunnels, concrete, precast, piling, earthworks, and access roads. They will also possess excellent communication skills to engage stakeholders at all levels and a proven track record in risk assessments, incident investigations, and corrective actions.
The company is seeking a professional who can develop and implement health, safety, and emergency management strategies aligned with client specifications. The selected candidate will lead audits, site inspections, and control assessments to ensure compliance and safety standards are met.
Key qualifications and experience required include:
- Qualifications in Occupational Health & Safety or related field;
- Experience developing and managing health and safety policies and systems;
- Experience with greenfield projects, precast walls, earthworks, and access roads;
- Excellent communication skills to engage stakeholders at all levels;
- Proven track record in risk assessments, incident investigations, and corrective actions.
