Drill & Blast Trainer

We are seeking experienced and adaptable Blast Trainers to join our team in the Pilbara region.

This is a challenging role that requires delivering site-based, practical training and supervision directly on the bench, ensuring safe, efficient, and best-practice blasting operations. Additionally, you will train and develop production teams with proficiency training, maintain and document training records, and collaborate with teams to enhance skill development.

  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or equivalent is required. A Certificate IV WHS or auditing qualifications and an Open 'C' Class Manual Licence or above are desirable. Standard 11 Induction is also preferred.
Desirable Skills:
  • Surface shotfiring licence
  • Previous hands-on experience with operator training including safe handling, transport and use of explosives
  • Basic Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word & Excel)
