Drill and Blast Trainer Opportunities

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Drill and Blast Trainer in the Pilbara region.

Job Overview:

We are seeking experienced, proactive, and adaptable Blast Trainers to deliver site-based, practical training and supervision directly on the bench.

  • Deliver training with a focus on safety and efficiency.
  • Maintain and document training records.
  • Collaborate with teams to enhance skill development.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Train and develop production teams with proficiency training.
  • Utilise cutting-edge technology to assist in proficiency information capture.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for training programs.

  • Primarily day shifts (12-hour shifts).

The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, be able to work effectively in a team environment, and have a proven ability to provide effective training and coaching.

A Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or equivalent qualification is required. A Certificate IV WHS or auditing qualifications and Standard 11 Induction (Queensland only) are highly desirable.
