About the Role

We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join our Macquarie Asset Management team in Sydney. As a key member of our Corporate Operations Group, you will play a critical role in driving strategic outcomes and delivering exceptional employee experiences.

As an HR Business Partner, you will leverage your expertise across a range of HR disciplines to support and coach business leaders on people matters across the full employee life cycle. This includes developing people activities, collaborating on business initiatives, and providing tactical support in developing Group-wide programs.

You will be part of a team that is highly valued by our business and uses data-driven insights to deliver exceptional employee experiences. You will also support aspects of the year-end remuneration and promotion processes while driving the execution of talent and diversity strategies within the business group.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement HR strategies to support business objectives
  • Provide coaching and guidance to business leaders on people matters
  • Collaborate with the broader global MAM HR team and Centres of Excellence to develop people activities and Group-wide programs
  • Support the execution of talent and diversity strategies within the business group
Requirements
  • Degree-level education in Human Resources or other relevant tertiary qualifications
  • Proven HR practitioner experience, ideally within the Finance industry
  • Strong understanding of business issues and a commercial mindset
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills with the ability to engage, collaborate, influence, and provide coaching at all levels
  • Data-led approach with ability to relate commercial and people insights to inform decision making
