Job Title: Community Support Worker

Overview: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Community Support Worker. As a Community Support Worker, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of people with disability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with daily living tasks such as personal care and household chores
  • Develop and implement behaviour plans to support clients with challenging behaviours
  • Build relationships with clients and their families to provide emotional support and connection
  • Provide transportation to clients for appointments and programs
  • Maintain accurate records and reports of client interactions and progress

Requirements:

  • Experience working in the disability sector, preferably with experience supporting individuals with challenging behaviours
  • Certificate in Community Services or related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet changing client needs
