We are seeking a compassionate and skilled individual to provide support services to individuals with disabilities.
As a Disability Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing personal care services, assisting with daily living tasks, and promoting independence and wellbeing in clients.
You will work closely with clients to understand their unique needs and develop personalized support plans that cater to their requirements.
- Providing personal care services, including bathing, grooming, and toileting
- Assisting with household tasks, such as cleaning, cooking, and laundry
- Supporting clients with daily living activities, like dressing, eating, and mobility
- Implementing engaging activities to promote socialisation and community integration
- Demonstrated experience working as a Disability Support Worker, preferably with children or young adults
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and families
- A caring and empathetic nature, with a focus on delivering high-quality support services
- Flexibility in working hours and shifts, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle (if applicable)
- Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability, or willingness to obtain cert III through our provider
