About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Planning Manager to join our team at GPC Asia Pacific. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for leading demand and supply planning, maximizing cost effectiveness and providing accurate forecasting and schedule purchasing within the business.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement demand and supply planning strategies to optimize inventory levels and reduce costs.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to balance working capital investment, availability targets, and customer contractual obligations.
  3. Lead monthly demand and supply performance reviews, presenting performance metrics, purchase order status, and working capital scenarios.
  4. Provide weekly reports to the planning team with risk identifications, improvement outcome plans, and rectification timelines.
  5. Interpret and manage daily issues arising from changes in demand and/or supply constraints that impact supply outlook.
  6. Drive supply integration and alignment towards a single supply plan.
  7. Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives in demand planning processes and replenishment platform.
  8. Manage KPI targets to hold the team to a high level of accountability and delivery.
  9. Maintain supply data accuracy with all purchase order key attributes.
  10. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  1. Demonstrated experience leading supply planning functions within complex, multi-segment distribution organizations.
  2. Knowledge of and experience with S&OP / IBP processes and responsibilities.
  3. Experience working across complex business structures without direct line authority to deliver required business outcomes and change.
  4. Demonstrated stakeholder management at senior levels.
  5. Knowledge of and experience with advanced planning systems, statistical forecasting techniques, and inventory management techniques and systems.
  6. Competency with techniques for change management.
  7. Demonstrated experience in developing team capabilities.
