About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Planner to join our Commercial team at Coles Group. As a Supply Planner, you will play a critical role in ensuring strong in-store availability of beverages and driving end-to-end optimization of the supply chain for this fast-paced category.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with a group of large, high-profile suppliers to ensure strong in-store availability of beverages
  • Drive end-to-end optimization of the supply chain for the category by identifying and delivering efficiencies and cost reduction
  • Develop innovative solutions to solve supply network operational issues across distribution and transport
  • Partner with internal logistics teams to deliver supply performance KPIs and prepare contingency plans in the event of unknown supply delays
  • Manage and be accountable for a growing business function with significant spend, delivering aggressive targeted reductions year on year
  • Influence and work cross-functionally with distribution centers, transport providers, and supply chain operations to help improve service levels
  • Proactively seek and identify opportunities to improve the end-to-end supply chain and manage the implementation of initiatives
About You
  • Demonstrated experience in a Supply Planning role, with developed planning and analytical skills
  • Proven understanding of Supply Chain finance
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, where process optimization and cost reduction have been a focus
  • Advanced problem-solving capability, with the ability to question process and come up with ideas to mitigate supply risks
  • Experience in managing supply chain network models and system levers to achieve supply metrics
  • An innate set of skills in negotiation, procurement, and contract management, including setting up new supply agreements
  • A high proficiency for communication, catering for a variety of stakeholder levels, including overseas vendors and internal stakeholders
