Why Your Role Matters

The Team Leader, Academic Engagement, plays a key role in the ISD leadership group, leading their team in delivering UNSW Library's learning and teaching services to academic staff and students. This position requires strategic planning, effective resource management, and fostering strong stakeholder relationships to deliver innovative and high-impact library services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the Academic Engagement team in developing and implementing teaching services aligned with the Library's Digital Information Skills Framework.
  • Analyse, evaluate, and report on service delivery to continuously improve service delivery in response to client and stakeholder feedback.
  • Work collaboratively with teams across the Library to enhance digital literacy and study skills.

Requirements

  • A degree from a higher education institution with substantial relevant experience or any other equivalent combination of knowledge, training, and/or experience.
  • Eligibility for Associate membership of the Australian Library and Information Association would be well regarded.
  • Demonstrated experience in planning, analysing, and evaluating delivery of high-quality library information services.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
