Key Systems Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled software engineer to lead the development of an innovative inventory management system.

This is a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology and collaborate with a non-technical founder, utilizing system design and architecture skills, experience with data-driven platforms, and a passion for creating practical AI-driven solutions.

Design and execute a modular, headless IMS system integrating with Shopify, Accounting, and Warehouse Management Systems.

Collaborate with the founder to define, refine, and deliver the product roadmap using iterative cycles.

Lead engineering delivery across backend, frontend, and infrastructure, ensuring high performance and reliability.

Develop AI agent workflows that action complex business logic around reordering, stock allocation, and sell-through optimization.

Mentor and manage a small team of engineers, reviewing code and elevating best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience as a full-stack or backend-heavy engineer
  • Strong system design and architecture skills, especially in event-driven systems
  • Experience with data-driven platforms or enterprise resource planning
  • A high agency and entrepreneurial mindset
  • Prior experience managing or mentoring engineers
  • Passion for creating practical AI-driven solutions
