Senior Software Developer Position

We are seeking a seasoned software engineer to join our product teams as a key strategic contributor. The ideal candidate will have strong system thinking, excellent technical judgment, and a growth mindset.

About the Role

This role is responsible for leading the development of large, high-impact projects that span services, domains, or teams. The successful candidate will drive measurable business outcomes, raise the bar on quality and testability, and introduce tools, patterns, and practices that improve confidence in our code.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver large-scale software solutions in complex distributed systems
  • Drive improvements to our platform, including developer experience, CI/CD, and service reliability
  • Make our systems easier to observe and operate, reducing time to detect, debug, and resolve issues
  • Contribute to our application security posture, proactively designing and advocating for secure solutions
  • Coach and mentor engineers on the team, helping them grow through design reviews, pair programming, and technical advice
Requirements
  • Strong experience building software solutions in complex distributed systems
  • Excellent technical judgment and ability to make clear, defensible tradeoffs in ambiguous situations
  • Growth mindset and ability to collaborate, mentor, and raise the bar for those around you
  • Skills in modern programming languages and frameworks, including TypeScript, ReactJS, Node.js, MySQL, and AWS
