HARVEST PUB OPERATIONS PTY LTD is seeking a skilled Cook to join the kitchen team at the Courthouse Hotel in Tamworth. This full-time position requires a creative and technically proficient individual who can maintain high food standards while working efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare, season, and cook food for table service, ensuring exceptional quality and presentation.
  • Maintain compliance with health and food regulations, controlling temperatures of ovens, steam ovens, pans, and other equipment to achieve optimal cooking results.
  • Collaborate with the head chef to plan innovative menus and develop new dishes that meet dietary requirements.
  • Conduct daily stock-takes of station, adhering to safety regulations and preserving foods per guidelines.

This role is ideal for individuals with a Certificate 3 in Commercial Cookery or Hospitality and at least two years of experience as a cook. Alternatively, three years of experience in a busy kitchen may be considered in substitution for formal qualifications.

The estimated salary for this role is $70,000 - $80,000 per annum, reflecting the high standards of the hotel and the importance of this position in maintaining its reputation in the local community.
