We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Ecologist to join our team at GeoLINK Consulting Pty Ltd.
About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Ecologist to work on various projects across different ecosystems, providing ecological advice, conducting field investigations, and contributing to high-level reporting. The successful candidate will also assist in mentoring staff and leading inter-disciplinary project teams.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Minimum of 7-10 years of professional experience in ecological or environmental consulting;
- Proven ability to write clear, concise, and scientifically accurate reports;
- Extensive experience in delivering all aspects and scales of ecological field surveys and statutory assessments;
- A level of GIS skills, including the ability to interrogate data and prepare ecological attribute maps;
- Expertise in flora and fauna identification, vegetation mapping, plant community types, and complex ecological assessments.
Estimated Salary: $90,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
