Out-of-Home Care Specialist

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Case Worker to join our team in Tamworth. The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering high-quality casework services within our Out-of-Home care program, working closely with the Department of Communities and Justice to achieve the best possible outcomes for children and young people.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and colleagues. A deep understanding of the issues affecting Aboriginal communities, societies, and cultures in NSW is essential, as is the ability to provide cultural support and advocacy on behalf of Aboriginal young people and their families.

The successful applicant will be offered a competitive salary of approximately $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, dependent on qualifications, skills, and experience. In addition to a generous salary package, Pathfinders offers a range of benefits, including:

RequirementsTo be considered for this role, you will need to have:
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in a related field, preferably in Out-of-Home care or social work
- A Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a related field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A deep understanding of the issues affecting Aboriginal communities, societies, and cultures in NSW
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
