Mental Health Leader for Youth Services

We are seeking a dedicated Mental Health Leader to join our team at headspace Port Macquarie. This pivotal role involves providing clinical supervision and support to our skilled clinical staff, as well as offering expert guidance on clinical service issues.
In this leadership position, you will play a key part in shaping the future of our services through involvement in program development, design, and evaluation. You will work closely with the headspace Services Manager to oversee and mentor senior clinicians, GP Clinic staff, and allied health practitioners, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation in mental health support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical supervision and support to clinical staff
- Offer expert guidance on clinical service issues
- Contribute to program development, design, and evaluation
- Mentor senior clinicians, GP Clinic staff, and allied health practitioners
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualification/s in a relevant health field and AHPRA registration or eligibility for membership with the association in your field
- At least 5 years of senior clinical experience, with advanced skills in mental health screening and risk assessment
- Proven ability to lead and supervise clinical staff, fostering a positive and collaborative environment
- Strong understanding of clinical governance, quality assurance, and the ability to develop and implement effective clinical processes
What We Offer:
