We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated leader to drive the provision of clinically high-quality mental health care for individuals aged 12-25 years at headspace Port Macquarie.

Overview

headspace is the National Youth Mental Health Foundation, working in partnership with local communities to provide early intervention mental health services to young people. As a Clinical Lead, you will be part of our Senior Leadership team and play an essential role in shaping the future of our services.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will have:

  • Proven ability to lead and supervise clinical staff, fostering a positive and collaborative environment
  • Strong understanding of clinical governance, quality assurance, and the ability to develop and implement effective clinical processes
  • Experience working with diverse young populations, including CALD, Indigenous, and LGBTIQA communities
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is $51 to $66 per hour (dependent on skills and qualifications) + super + salary packaging benefits of up to $18,550. About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary qualification/s in a relevant health field and AHPRA registration or eligibility for membership with the association in your field
  • At least 5 years of senior clinical experience, with advanced skills in mental health screening and risk assessment
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build strong relationships with clients, families, and other service providers
