Clinical Therapist for Children and Families

We are seeking a highly motivated Clinical Therapist to join our team in Port Macquarie. As a key member of our Youth Enhanced Services (YES) program, you will work with children and families to provide comprehensive case management, psychological therapy, and group work.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality mental health support to children and their families, focusing on emotional regulation, impulse control, and interpersonal skills
- Conduct holistic assessments, develop treatment plans, and manage transitions in care
- Work collaboratively with other care agencies, educators, and interagency networks to achieve program goals
- Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Social Work, Mental Health Nursing, or a related discipline
- A minimum of four years' experience working with children, young people, and families, including those facing moderate to high acuity mental health issues
- Expertise in mental health therapeutic approaches and a solid understanding of trauma's impact on mental health
