Content and Communications Lead Position Overview

This leadership role involves creating strategic communications that reflect the values of our educational institution. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing high-quality written content that engages diverse audiences.


As a key member of our team, you will lead the development of our brand voice and messaging across various channels, driving enrolments, engagement, and reputation through audience-focused communications.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Tone of Voice and Messaging Frameworks: Develop and maintain our tone of voice and key messaging frameworks to ensure consistency across all communications.
  • Content Creation and Editing: Write and edit long-form content for publications, speeches, digital platforms, and campaigns, aligning with our institutional standards.
  • Collaboration and Workflow Management: Collaborate with staff to review and refine written content, shape storytelling and messaging, and oversee creative direction and content workflow in project management tools.
  • Campaign Planning and Execution: Assist in planning and executing communications campaigns alongside the Director of Communications, contributing to the development of media releases and event communications.
  • Publishing and Event Support: Support the planning and delivery of College publications and major event communications, working collaboratively with staff, students, and alumni to identify and develop meaningful stories.
