Job Overview

This role is crucial to our success in the region and will be supported by our Operations Team and Duty Managers.

As a security officer, you will provide strong customer service solutions to visitors, contractors & clients. You will proactively monitor CCTV and Access Control Systems, conduct building patrols to actively report and mitigate security & safety risks, identify and report hazards and building faults for rectification, and manage contractors and deliveries through dock management.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing excellent customer service to all stakeholders.
  • Monitoring CCTV and Access Control Systems to ensure the security of the premises.
  • Conducting regular building patrols to identify potential security and safety risks.
  • Reporting hazards and building faults to relevant authorities for rectification.
  • Managing contractors and deliveries through dock management.
  • Responding to emergency situations as required.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Essential Requirements:
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Proactive and problem-solving mindset.
  • Ability to work well in a team or autonomously.
  • Ability to work in a rotational roster (nights/days/weekends).
  • Australian citizen or hold unlimited work rights.
  • Valid QLD Security License (including monitoring subclass).
  • Crowd control endorsement desirable.
  • Current First Aid & CPR Certificate.
