Project Leaders are essential to driving construction activities forward and achieving project objectives. We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee the delivery of a pioneering industrial project in Western Australia.

This role requires coordination with multiple stakeholders, ensuring quality, cost, and schedule targets are met in complex environments. Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting senior managers as required
  • Developing and implementing construction processes and procedures
  • Providing supervision and technical assistance at various sites
  • Reviewing project deliverables focusing on constructability and commissioning input
  • Preparing construction execution plans, scopes of work, schedules, and mobilisation requirements
  • Contributing to cost estimates and project budgets
  • Leading constructability reviews and input to project execution plans
  • Assisting procurement and subcontract teams with scope definitions, evaluations, and awards
  • Liaising between contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers
  • Providing cost and schedule input for fabricated items/packages and following up on quality and delivery
  • Producing progress reports for project management and stakeholders
  • Managing planning and design stages of construction projects
  • Ensuring safe, high-quality, and environmentally responsible execution of construction activities

For this position, we require:

A bachelor's degree or relevant trade qualification

Formal training in project management (PMP or equivalent) is desirable

Minimum 15 years' experience in oil and gas or industrial plant construction, with at least 10 years focused on construction leadership roles

Strong background in SMP (structural, mechanical, piping) construction

Demonstrated success on Australian onshore construction projects

Proven ability to manage cost, schedule, and risk in complex construction environments

Strong problem-solving, organisational, and leadership skills

Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office and construction management databases

Effective English communication skills (oral and written)
