Personal Support Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Personal Support Assistant to join our community aged care team.

This is a Casual role providing personal care assistance for clients in their own homes. As a valued member of our team, you will be supported by a passionate and experienced group who are dedicated to delivering high-quality, person-centred care.

The role involves assisting clients with daily living activities, such as personal care and hygiene needs, as well as supporting them to continue living independently. This may include tasks such as:

  • Providing personal care assistance, including showering and toileting
  • Assisting clients to maintain their independence, such as transportation to appointments and shopping
  • Offering social connection and companionship

You will work closely with clients to understand their individual needs and preferences, and develop meaningful relationships with them. Our Personal Support Assistants play a vital role in helping clients live fulfilling lives, and we are committed to supporting you in your role.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Certificate III in Individual Support (Aging) or equivalent qualification
  • A current Australian Driver licence and reliable vehicle
  • Current First Aid & CPR certification
  • Valid working rights in Australia
  • A Police Check (valid within the last 3 years)
  • Evidence of COVID-19 vaccinations
