We seek experienced carers who want regular shifts and can commit to a minimum of around 20 hours per week.

About the Role

Our focus is on empowering members of our ageing and disabled community to live fulfilling lives at home, doing what they love to do. We provide round-the-clock care, scheduling visits to meet clients' needs at various times throughout the day.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Deliver premium care services to clients that are genuine, compassionate and personalised;
  2. Assist clients (e.g. NDIS 'Standard') with daily activities including personal care, meal preparation, light housekeeping, transport, and companionship;
  3. Assist clients (e.g. NDIS 'High Intensity') with medication administration, PEG feeding, oral suctioning, seizure management, managing challenging behaviours and/or other high care tasks undertaken in accordance with clinical policies and approved DoC framework;
  4. Provide care in accordance with the client's care plan developed by a Registered Nurse;
  5. Meet the safety requirements of the client and utilise equipment safely and properly;
  6. Accurately and thoroughly complete records and documentation.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Possess a passion for making a difference;
  • A self-led individual with the ability to take responsibility for their own behaviour and success;
  • Coachable;
  • Previous caregiving experience is an asset;
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English; additional languages are beneficial;
  • Capacity to identify and report client care concerns to management when necessary;
  • Reliable means of transportation to and from clients' homes.
Essential Requirements
  • Minimum Certificate III in Aged Care, Community, Individual Support or Disability, or equivalent extensive industry experience;
  • National Police Check (Aged Care/Vulnerable Persons Sector);
  • Working With Children Check;
  • NDIS Worker Screener Clearance;
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module Completion;
  • Current CPR and First Aid certificates;
  • Valid Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle.
