We're seeking a Product Support Manager who will have program leadership oversight responsibilities for both Engineering and Supply Support teams. The Product Support Manager is accountable for delivery of services listed under the contractual Statement of Work (SoW).

The ideal candidate will have minimum 5 years' experience working within a sustainment related organisation in a technical industry. They should have a demonstrable understanding of core sustainment principles e.g., change management, baseline management, cost, schedule and asset management. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, along with ability to engage, influence and cooperate with a wide range of stakeholders are essential.

The Product Support Manager will work closely with Project Managers and Chief Engineer to provide collaborative oversight to ensure engineering and technical support scope is delivered within schedule and budget constraints. They will also act as customer interface to ensure contract deliverables are adequately understood and communicated.

**Job Responsibilities:**

  • Provide Cost Account Management (CAM) services as delegated by PMs
  • Ensure effective deployment of engineering activities and resources
  • Liaise with BDA Engineering skill-stream leaders to ensure required engineering skills are being provided; and maintain and grow knowledge, skills and experience of the C-17A Engineering team
  • Track performance metrics and identify continuous improvement opportunities

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a sustainment related organisation in a technical industry
  • Demonstrable understanding of core sustainment principles
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Bachelors degree (or equivalent) in a relevant field
