Field Service Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer to deliver exceptional on-site after-sales support for mobile and crawler cranes. This is a unique chance to utilize your technical expertise and contribute to the success of our operations.

  • Conduct site visits, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of crane systems to ensure seamless operation.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues in hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems to minimize downtime and optimize productivity.
  • Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and load-testing to guarantee compliance with safety standards and regulations.
  • Train clients on safe crane operation, maintenance protocols, and troubleshooting basics to enhance their proficiency and confidence.
  • Collaborate with engineering and sales teams to escalate complex issues and improve product design through data-driven insights.
  • Document service activities, including fault diagnostics, repairs, and parts usage, in detailed reports to inform strategic decisions.
  • Manage spare parts inventory and liaise with suppliers for timely procurement to maintain operational efficiency.
  • Adhere strictly to workplace safety regulations and industry best practices to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience servicing heavy lifting equipment, preferably cranes, with a proven track record of excellence.
  • Strong communication skills in English; ability to simplify complex technical concepts for diverse audiences and stakeholders.
  • Valid Brisbane driving license and ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
