Heavy Lifting Operations Specialist

We are currently seeking a qualified Heavy Lifting Operations Specialist with extensive experience in managing lifting operations for upcoming projects.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven technical competence and practical experience in heavy lifting operations.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, problem-solving, and team management skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of cranes (crawler, mobile crane with outriggers & pedestal), lifting equipment, and lifting operations.
  • A thorough understanding of lifting engineering aspects, including load charts, ground-bearing capacity, and barge stability.
  • Ability to prepare comprehensive lifting engineering calculations and risk assessments.

At least 7 years of experience in heavy lifting operations or related industries is preferred.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with affiliate teams to ensure consistent application of lifting standards on all sites.
  • Ensuring adherence to company rules and procedures regarding handling and lifting operations.
  • Providing expertise in day-to-day lifting activities, including lift categorization, hazard identification, risk assessment, and technical review.
  • Working with contractors to develop technically acceptable lifting procedures and documentation prior to lifting activities.
