Job Opportunity

As a civilian medical professional, you will provide essential healthcare services to Australian Defence Force (ADF) Members. The role involves delivering primary medical care to patients in accordance with professional standards and legislation. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, assessing Defence personnel for fitness for duty and providing care that supports their health and wellbeing pre and post deployments.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering primary medical care to patients
  • Assessing Defence personnel for fitness for duty
  • Providing care that supports the health and wellbeing of Defence personnel


Working Arrangements
You will work on Tuesday and Thursday from 4pm-8pm. We are committed to providing a supportive culture with trusted leaders who will help you achieve your goals.

Requirements
  • Current unconditional and unrestricted registration as a Medical Practitioner, General in Australia with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) or Fellowship of the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (FACRRM) or Vocational Registration
  • Minimum of 2 years full-time postgraduate general practitioner experience in a general practice setting within the last 5 years (or part-time equivalent)
  • Recent participation in Continuous Professional Development (CPD) activities in accordance with AHPRA
  • Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (HLTAID009) certification
