Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate medical professional to fill the role of Staff Specialist in Palliative Care.
About the Role
- This is an exciting opportunity to provide high-quality, patient-centred medical care across various settings, including inpatient units, outpatient clinics, community and home-based services, and hospital consultancy.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering compassionate end-of-life care to patients, families, and carers.
- This role also involves collaborating within a multidisciplinary team, contributing to education, training, and clinical leadership within the service.
- Additionally, the candidate will participate in the on-call roster to ensure continuity of care.
Requirements
- Ambitious individuals with completed fellowship exam or pending successful completion by July 2025 are encouraged to apply.
- A pre-employment National Police Check is a requirement.
- Candidates must comply with Canberra Health Services Occupational Assessment, Screening and Vaccination policy.
- They must also meet credentialing and scope of clinical practice requirements for medical professionals.
