Patient Rehabilitation Evaluator

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive face-to-face pre-admission clinical evaluations to assess the appropriateness of patients for the inpatient rehabilitation programs.
- Clearly articulate the rehabilitation offerings to patients and their families or caregivers prior to their admission.
- Promote the rehabilitation services and facilities through informative sessions and educational initiatives.
- Ensure maintenance of bed occupancy levels in alignment with the targets set by the Executive Management Team.
About Us: Healthscope operates one of Australia's leading private rehabilitation hospitals, affiliated with prominent universities. With a capacity of 115 inpatient rehabilitation beds, our facility is designed to foster recovery through specialized inpatient programs.
Selection Criteria:
- Registered Nurse with valid AHPRA registration.
- A minimum of five years of experience in rehabilitation nursing or a postgraduate qualification in Rehabilitation Nursing.
- Possession of a current driver's license.
- Familiarity with the Guidelines for Recognition of Private Hospital-Based Rehabilitation Services.
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Advanced clinical proficiency in rehabilitation nursing.
- Knowledge and competence in AROC and FIM.
