About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to join Healthscope as a Rehabilitation Patient Assessor, where you will play a critical role in assessing patients for our in-patient rehabilitation programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- To conduct comprehensive pre-admission clinical assessments to determine suitability of patients for our rehabilitation programs.
- To effectively communicate the benefits and details of our rehabilitation programs to patients and their families/carers.
- To promote our programs and facilities through the provision of information, education, and other activities.
- To maintain optimal bed occupancy levels as agreed with the Executive Management Team.
About Our Hospital:
Lady Davidson Private Hospital is a leading private dedicated rehabilitation hospital in Australia, affiliated with Sydney and Macquarie Universities. Our hospital has 115 inpatient rehabilitation beds and is designed to promote rehabilitation through our in-patient programs.
Selection Criteria:
- Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration.
- A minimum of five years rehabilitation nursing experience or postgraduate qualification in Rehabilitation Nursing.
- Current driver's license.
- Understanding of Guidelines for Recognition of Private Hospital-Based Rehabilitation Services.
- Established interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Advanced clinical competence in rehabilitation nursing.
- Understanding of and competence in AROC and FIM.
