We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Exercise Physiologist to join our Allied Health team at Healthscope Hospitals. As a key member of our rehabilitation team, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse caseload, delivering best practice exercise prescription to our in-patients, day-patients, and community class participants.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement individualized exercise programs for patients with various medical conditions, including orthopaedic, neurological, cardiac, respiratory, oncology, and general medical.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care and support to patients.
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and develop effective exercise plans.
- Provide education and training to patients, families, and healthcare professionals on exercise and rehabilitation techniques.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practice guidelines.
- Recognized degree in Exercise Physiology.
- Registration with ESSA.
- Exceptional time management and communication skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Proven excellence in customer service delivery.
- Experience working in a hospital setting and with NDIS participants is highly regarded.
