Job Summary

The Technical Production Lead will be responsible for providing technical support to mine production, ensuring the delivery of safe and efficient production plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish company procedures, standards, and templates for the technical services department.
  • Deliver short-term schedules in alignment with direction provided by the Planning Department.
  • Assist with the implementation of infrastructure projects and required instructions.
  • Support operation through the delivery of safe and efficient production plans (Drilling, charging, remote bogging).
  • Monitor ventilation surveys and ensure compliance with WHS (Mining) 2022 regulations.
  • Conduct regular underground inspections and manage Underground Manager ticket coverage.
  • Organize short-term/daily activities with onsite contractors and technical staff.
  • Develop and implement Safe Systems of Work.
  • Manage and support raisebore and civil works contractors.
  • Mentor and develop the Production Engineering Team.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A tertiary degree in Mining Engineering.
  • Solid experience in mining engineering.
  • Deswik competency.
  • Production Experience.
  • Ability to manage and develop teams.
  • Ability to manage contractors.
  • Well-developed communication and literacy skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously with well-developed time management skills.
  • Business acumen gained within an operational mining environment.
  • Full knowledge of Mine Safety and Inspection Act & Regulations.
