Tps Supervisor Job Description

The role of TPS Supervisor involves overseeing the performance and supervision of specialist support teams, including Technical Product Specialists (TPS) and MineStar Support Advisors.

Key responsibilities include ensuring the successful delivery of technical value add outcomes to internal and external customers through product problem management, continuous improvement of existing Technology products, and introduction of new technology products in conjunction with Caterpillar.

  • Provide strong leadership through coaching, managing talent and performance, planning development opportunities, and ensuring the team is well-staffed.
  • Assign expert technical staff to resolve customer technology issues and boost skills within the MineStar team.
  • E nsure MineStar support teams have enough people to handle customer issues effectively through both first-level and advanced support processes.
  • Support successful delivery of new technology products and adoption with customers.
  • Manage technical support to deliver meaningful benefits to both customers and internal teams.
  • Review team performance in supporting customers and identify ways to improve service and business outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Proven leadership experience with the ability to motivate diverse teams and manage competing priorities in high-pressure environments.
  • Strong understanding of mining technology's benefits, particularly in improving safety, operations, and maintenance.
  • Well-developed technical skills, including knowledge of equipment solutions, IT systems, and data analysis.
  • Excellent communication, customer service, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Technical Skills:
  • Familiarity with Cat Mining Technology and systems like DBSi, SiS, and MineStar.
