A rare leadership position is available in a highly regarded law firm on the Gold Coast.
This role offers a unique chance to step into a leadership position at a firm with outstanding staff retention and a supportive, family-like culture.
As a Practice Manager, you will be a central figure in the practice, providing key support to the Partners in managing the firm's financial operations, human resources, and business operations.
You will play a critical role in ensuring that the firm runs smoothly and efficiently while contributing to its continued growth and success.
This full-time role is in-office and offers a great deal of variety and responsibility, with the opportunity to drive change and implement improvements across various departments.
Responsibilities- Oversee financial management activities, including trust account management, preparation of financial statements, and regular reporting to the Partners.
- Lead recruitment and HR efforts.
- Manage operations, focusing on marketing, business development, liaising with external service providers, and ensuring all systems are in place for smooth business operations.
- Assist with the development and execution of the firm's growth strategy, identifying and implementing opportunities for operational efficiencies.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, managing the firm's insurances, equipment, and IT services.
- Proven experience in a practice management role within a law firm.
- Strong financial management skills, with experience in budgeting, reporting, and trust account management.
- Excellent human resources experience, including staff recruitment, onboarding, and performance management.
- A solid understanding of operations management, including marketing, business development, and IT management.
- Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with senior leadership and staff.
- A proactive attitude with a solutions-driven approach to problem-solving.
