Role Summary

This role presents an opportunity to step into a real-time, high-output environment and help drive the performance of our Goods-To-Person (GTP) infrastructure further.

You will be responsible for optimising the efficiency and uptime of our GTP and automation platforms.

  • Optimise the efficiency and uptime of our GTP and automation platforms
  • Support preventative maintenance activities and weekday servicing
  • Work closely with Engineering, Operations and Planning to align labour and automation strategies
  • Analyse system and operational data to maximise output and ensure consistent lead times at lowest cost
  • Develop and improve scalable processes across low, medium and peak demand periods
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the optimisation of GTP and automation platforms
  • Ensure the effective execution of preventative maintenance activities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive alignment
  • Drive business outcomes through data analysis
  • Design and implement efficient processes

What we are looking for in this candidate:

  • A degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering
  • Natural leadership qualities — you've led a team, even if not yet in the workplace
  • A proactive mindset with strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, operational environment
  • Familiarity with automation systems (e.g. Schaefer/SSI) a bonus
  • Strong skills in Excel, data analysis, and clear communication
  • Flexibility in adapting to rotating shift (morning/afternoon/night) essential.
