Business Analysis Role Overview

This position will drive enterprise-level projects and initiatives that deliver key digital transformation projects.

You will work closely with stakeholders to analyse, define, and communicate requirements, taking a solution-agnostic approach to ensure value for the business and customers.

  • Conduct research and analysis to inform future digital processes
  • Consult with cross-functional teams, senior stakeholders, and executives to gather inputs, validate assumptions, and socialise findings
  • Conduct cost-benefit analyses, ROI assessments, and risk assessments
  • Lead or contribute to the development of business cases for proposed projects or initiatives
  • Support executive decision making with reports and recommendations
  • Facilitate requirement discovery sessions to identify, document, and communicate business needs and requirements
  • Liaise with the IT team(s) to assist them in developing technical solutions

This is a maximum term position until February 2026.

Key Skills and Qualifications
  • 5+ years business analysis experience, ideally in government, utilities, or highly regulated environments
  • Strong communication skills and ability to influence senior stakeholders and executives
  • Strategic thinker with demonstrated experience in business transformation programs
  • Experience in facilitating workshops, process mapping, procedural documentation, and performing post-implementation reviews
  • Bachelor or Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, or related field
  • Knowledge of advanced metering and smart meter operations will be highly regarded
