Job Overview

As a seasoned sales professional, you will be responsible for cultivating and expanding key partnerships with prominent accounting firms. Your primary objective will be to develop and execute digital strategies that drive business growth and client adoption.

This high-impact role requires extensive travel and appointment-making to meet with C-suite executives and stakeholders. You will form strong relationships with your partners and collaborate with colleagues to optimize performance and support the company's overall success.

  • Cultivate and manage long-term relationships with C-suite executives at prominent accounting firms
  • Develop and execute digital strategies to drive business growth and client adoption
  • Manage national training and implementation programs
  • Drive customer acquisition and achieve monthly targets
  • Align online strategies with each accounting practice
  • Develop project plans to support large and multi-entity clients
  • Demonstrate and sell the value of Xero to key clients
  • Ensure partner engagement plans are developed and executed
  • Coordinate multiple stakeholders and decision-makers within each partner organization
  • Ensure partners and employees attend introductory webinars, events, and certification training
  • Collaborate with local senior account managers to drive local awareness and engagement
  • Execute national rollout of training programs
  • Educate partners on available resources
  • Monitor client progress through the sales cycle
  • Update CRM systems with client communications
  • Maintain and update CRM systems with practice staff and contact details
  • Respond promptly to partner inquiries
  • Engage in regular call cycles with allocated partners
Requirements
  • Proven sales performance in financial technology products and/or accounting software
  • Direct experience selling and cross-selling multiple products
  • Experience managing long-term C-suite level relationships with nationwide organizations
  • Experience with Salesforce (or similar) CRM platforms
  • Direct experience and knowledge of accounting practices
  • Initiative and ability to work autonomously
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to build strong relationships with partners
  • Attention to detail and follow-up
  • Interest in emerging online accounting markets and fintech
  • Results-driven approach with passion for making a difference
