Senior Maintenance Manager

We are seeking a dedicated professional to lead our mobile maintenance team in Huntly. As a senior manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient execution of planned and unplanned maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing safety and technical leadership to the team, mentoring, and guiding them to ensure a high-quality standard of work.
  • Completing daily work area inspections and conducting regular leader time in the field to develop a safe and efficient work culture.
  • Prioritizing mobile maintenance activities, including coordinating parts and labor to achieve both planned and unplanned work in accordance with statutory and environmental requirements.
  • Driving continuous improvement with a focus on cost savings, productivity enhancements, and risk management.
  • Optimizing crew performance through coordination, coaching, and feedback.

Requirements:

  • A commitment to continuous improvement, especially regarding health, safety, and the environment.
  • Well-developed communication skills enabling effective interaction with all levels of the organization.
  • Confidence in leading, coaching, and developing team members.
  • Relevant trade qualification and/or experience in mobile equipment maintenance.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a leadership position with proven experience operating in a field leadership role, preferably with in-depth knowledge of large-scale earthmoving equipment maintenance.
  • Schedule 26 - Statutory Supervisor accreditation or willingness to obtain it.
  • A current and valid 'C Class' manual driver's license.
