Job Title: Financial Services Specialist

Overview:

The Senior Credit Analyst will be responsible for evaluating and assessing credit applications for asset finance transactions. This includes conducting thorough financial analyses to determine the creditworthiness of applicants and providing recommendations to senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and assess credit applications for asset finance transactions, ensuring that all relevant information is considered and analyzed thoroughly.
  • Conduct detailed financial analysis to determine creditworthiness, utilizing industry-standard tools and methodologies.
  • Prepare and present credit recommendations to senior stakeholders, clearly articulating the rationale behind each decision.
  • Monitor and manage the ongoing credit risk portfolio, staying up-to-date on market trends and regulatory changes.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure adherence to credit policies and procedures, promoting a culture of compliance and excellence.
  • Provide insights and advice to support strategic decision-making, leveraging expertise in credit analysis and risk assessment.
  • Maintain compliance with industry regulations and company standards, ensuring that all activities are conducted in accordance with established guidelines.
  • Assist with process improvements to enhance operational efficiency, identifying areas for improvement and implementing effective solutions.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate will possess a strong background in credit analysis, particularly in asset finance, along with qualifications in accounting or finance. They should also have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, proficiency in financial modeling and risk assessment, strong communication and stakeholder management abilities, knowledge of industry standards within the industrial and manufacturing sector, and an ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Candidates with experience working in a similar role, proficiency in multiple languages, and a proven track record of success in credit analysis will be highly regarded.
