Job Title: Sr. Electrical Infrastructure Specialist

Job Description:

Talison Lithium is a leading lithium minerals producer with the largest high-grade ore body in the world.

We are seeking an experienced Sr. Electrical Infrastructure Specialist to take on a pivotal leadership position responsible for the safe and compliant operation of high voltage (HV) electrical infrastructure across site.

The successful candidate will work closely with planning and maintenance teams to ensure maximum availability, reliability, and performance of critical electrical assets.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Supervise installation, maintenance, and testing of electrical equipment across site infrastructure
  • Provide technical leadership and support to internal teams and stakeholders
  • Act as the appointed Statutory Electrical Supervisor/Electrical Nominee as required
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance strategies for HV assets
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant electrical standards and legislative requirements
  • Prepare reports for statutory authorities and ensure incident notifications are managed appropriately
  • Assist in developing annual maintenance budgets and managing capital forecasts
  • Oversee work planning and scheduling in collaboration with planning teams
  • Lead continuous improvement through asset performance reviews and lean maintenance principles
  • Engage with external consultants and internal departments to uphold electrical best practices
  • Act in the role of Infrastructure Electrical Superintendent during periods of absence
