Cruiseabout is on the hunt for a talented Digital Marketing Executive

We are seeking an enthusiastic and results-driven individual to join our marketing team, covering the full digital marketing mix. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work across various marketing disciplines, driving business growth while building the Cruiseabout brand.

This role reports directly to the General Manager of Cruiseabout and is responsible for eDM, paid digital media, search ads, and social media channels. You will develop strategies for engagement, optimisation, and growth, ensuring alignment with business Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

Your Responsibilities:

  • Owning the eDM, paid digital media, and social channels, presenting strategies for engagement, optimisation, and growth to build the Cruiseabout brand and meet business KPIs.
  • Contributing ideas to the overall marketing strategy and campaign calendar for Cruiseabout.
  • Utilizing Salesforce Marketing Cloud to plan, build, send, and report on frequent marketing email campaigns.
  • Bearing responsibility for building email campaigns using HTML and CSS for brand, content, campaign, tactical, and local EDM projects.
  • Strategically segmenting audiences from the database for email campaigns using Salesforce Marketing Cloud's filtering abilities or SQL Queries.
  • Automated journeys management and creation, including welcome journeys, nurture sequences, customer journey, GA website retargeting, and more.
  • Collaborating with the wider marketing team to execute paid social media requirements for brand and campaigns.
  • Planning paid digital performance strategies for brand and campaigns.
  • Bearing responsibility for building and maintaining paid search campaigns, both in-house and with agency.
  • Creating and managing automated bid strategies.
  • Analysing and reporting results of paid media activity to provide valuable insights and actionable recommendations.
  • Defining campaign budgets, goals, and ensuring adherence to search optimisation principles.

About You:

  • Experience in using Facebook Business Manager and Ad Manager for paid marketing campaigns.
  • Experience in using Google Search Ads for paid marketing campaigns.
  • Solid understanding of Google Analytics.
  • Experience in eDM strategy and best practice.
  • Strong understanding of Social Media strategy, content creation, and posting across platforms.
  • Experience and success in managing competing deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong copywriting experience, including ability to spell and use correct grammar.
  • A positive, friendly, and enthusiastic attitude and the ability to develop strong relationships.
