Associate Nurse Unit Manager

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Associate Nurse Unit Manager to join our team in the Paediatric Emergency Department at the Women's and Children's Health Network. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and guidance to our nursing staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and promoting a positive and supportive work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical leadership and guidance to nursing staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that promote best practice and patient safety.
- Provide education and training to nursing staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
- Postgraduate qualification in nursing or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a leadership role in a healthcare setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
