We are seeking individuals to join our lifeguarding team at the Aquatic Centre.

The Role

Lifeguards will be responsible for daily pool operations and ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for all patrons both in and around the pools.

You should have a passion for water safety and excellent communication skills. Ideal candidates are outgoing, fun, and committed to customer service to ensure patrons enjoy their visit safely every time.

Applicants must demonstrate effective communication and interaction skills with a diverse range of ages, abilities, cultures, and needs.

Key Requirements
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Understanding of occupational health and safety and public safety principles
  • Availability for mornings, evenings, and weekends
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A current Pool Lifeguard Certificate is required
  • Previous experience is not essential but highly regarded
  • A Working with Children Check (Employee Status) and National Police Check are also required
