Lifeguard Position

We are seeking energetic, confident and motivated people to join our lifeguarding team at Inverell Aquatic Centre.

Job Description

The role involves managing the day-to-day pool operations within our facility and ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for all patrons. Our lifeguards will be responsible for maintaining high standards of water safety and providing excellent customer service.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • An understanding of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) and public safety applications within your facility
  • Ability to work mornings, evenings and weekends
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as a strong and valuable part of the team
  • Current Pool Lifeguard Certificate
  • Previous experience and success in a comparable role is not essential but highly regarded
  • Current First Aid (Level 2)
  • Current CPR Certificate
  • Working with Children's Check (Employee Status)
  • National Police Check
