Senior Property Accountant Position

We are seeking an experienced Senior Property Accountant to join our organisation in the property industry, based on a fixed-term contract.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial reporting for a portfolio of commercial properties and coordinating budgeting, forecasting, and monthly accruals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage financial reporting for a portfolio of commercial properties
  • Coordinate budgeting, forecasting, and monthly accruals
  • Prepare and present monthly and quarterly financial reports, including NOI variance analysis and CAPEX forecasts
  • Maintain and reconcile property balance sheets and fixed asset registers
  • Build strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely reporting
  • Support group reporting and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Commercial Property experience is essential
  • Degree qualified in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline
  • CPA/CA qualified
  • Minimum 3 years' post-qualification experience in commercial or retail property accounting
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
  • Experience with property management systems
