Unity Power Engineers is a dedicated Electrical Engineering design and consulting firm providing a range of engineering technical services to the heavy industrial, utilities, mining, and renewables sectors across Australia.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team. As a Lead Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing project execution from concept through to commissioning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and review electrical infrastructure for transmission, distribution, and generation projects.
  • Develop technical specifications, reports, and drawings using industry-standard tools.
  • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers.
  • Lead power system studies including load flow, fault analysis, protection coordination, and stability assessments.
  • Liaise with clients, regulators, and stakeholders to ensure compliance and project success.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • 10+ years of experience in the Electrical Engineering field.
  • Strong knowledge of standards (IEEE, IEC, AS/NZS), NER, and utility requirements.
  • Strong knowledge in tools like AutoCAD and PTW.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
