Project Engineering Role

As a Project Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping complex electrical projects across mining and infrastructure. You will lead major electrical projects in heavy industry, exposing you to diverse sites across NSW & QLD, and providing a strong pipeline of long-term projects.

Key Responsibilities

This position is centred on project engineering, overseeing the delivery of electrical and site projects from concept through to commissioning. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinate and oversee project delivery, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and quality standards.
  • Undertake site inspections, collecting accurate notes and photographs.
  • Liaise with internal teams, customers, and subcontractors to achieve project outcomes.
  • Support tendering activities through estimating and pricing input.
  • Identify and implement cost-saving measures and value-engineering opportunities.
  • Maintain strong safety, compliance, and quality assurance practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • An electrical trade qualification or higher in a relevant field.
  • A proven track record delivering projects in mining, or heavy industrial setting.
  • Experience working with High Voltage systems.
  • The capability to contribute to estimating and project tendering processes.
  • Strong communication, organisational, and time-management skills.
  • A current driver's licence and willingness to work across different project sites.
