As a Project Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping complex electrical projects across mining and infrastructure. You will lead major electrical projects in heavy industry, exposing you to diverse sites across NSW & QLD, and providing a strong pipeline of long-term projects.
Key ResponsibilitiesThis position is centred on project engineering, overseeing the delivery of electrical and site projects from concept through to commissioning. Your responsibilities will include:
- Coordinate and oversee project delivery, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and quality standards.
- Undertake site inspections, collecting accurate notes and photographs.
- Liaise with internal teams, customers, and subcontractors to achieve project outcomes.
- Support tendering activities through estimating and pricing input.
- Identify and implement cost-saving measures and value-engineering opportunities.
- Maintain strong safety, compliance, and quality assurance practices.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- An electrical trade qualification or higher in a relevant field.
- A proven track record delivering projects in mining, or heavy industrial setting.
- Experience working with High Voltage systems.
- The capability to contribute to estimating and project tendering processes.
- Strong communication, organisational, and time-management skills.
- A current driver's licence and willingness to work across different project sites.
